Vertical 9:16 portrait composition of Jesus kneeling on a worn limestone floor, his back slightly bowed, one hand cradling the heel of a seated disciple's bare foot while the other pours water from a small clay jug into a wide terracotta basin, his gaze lowered in calm concentration and his lips softly closed in a gentle, serene expression. He wears an undyed linen tunic with the outer robe removed and a coarse, damp linen towel knotted around his waist, its rough weave catching the light. The disciple, a bearded fisherman with sun-weathered skin and a sea-blue wool mantle, grips the edge of a low wooden bench, leaning forward with eyes glistening and brow furrowed in humbled disbelief. In the background, two other disciples sit half in shadow beside a low cedar table holding a torn loaf of unleavened bread, a pottery wine cup and a bowl of olives; a rough plastered wall shows a small arched window with a wooden lattice, a hanging bundle of dried hyssop and a clay oil lamp on a niche. Foreground shows spilled water beading on the stone and the rim of the basin; midground holds the two central figures; background dissolves into deep umber shadow. Camera at a slightly elevated three-quarter angle, 50mm lens equivalent, shallow depth of field keeping Jesus's hands and the disciple's face crisp while the room softens. Key light from a single flickering oil lamp on the floor to the left casts warm amber highlights on hands and faces, faint cool moonlight from the window gives a subtle blue rim light on shoulders, minimal fill leaves rich chiaroscuro. Palette of burnt sienna, honey gold, olive brown and deep charcoal. Mood of tender humility and quiet reverence. Photorealistic cinematic still with Baroque Caravaggio-inspired chiaroscuro and fine fabric texture.
